How we typically support private individuals

Tax-efficient
wealth building

We help preserve and nurture your wealth through tax-efficient saving and investing and ensure your assets are structured suitably to help you achieve your goals.

We provide expert guidance on how to improve your current circumstances by analysing each aspect of your affairs from the level of risk you are taking to the costs you are presently charged.

career
transitions

Whether you are about to become a tenant or are preparing to be appointed a KC, taking an extended period away from the Bar, or ultimately preparing for retirement it is important to have your affairs in order to help put your best foot forward.

We help organise your financial affairs so that you may focus your attention on the next chapter of your life and on what truly matters most to you.

financial
empowerment

In some instances, you already know what you want to do it is more a matter of how to do it and having the confidence to do it.

Our goal is to help you feel more empowered, confident, and make more informed financial decisions regarding your future.

We do this through sharing our analysis of the impact your decision may have on your financial future.

How we engage with our clients

We believe great financial guidance is thoughtful, collaborative, and entirely centred around you.

We begin with a complimentary introduction to understand your needs and explain how we work. From there, we agree on the scope, timeframe, and costs upfront - no surprises.

Once we’re aligned, we gather the necessary information, conduct detailed research, and present our recommendations clearly and without jargon.

If you decide to move forward, we’re with you every step of the way to support implementation and ensure real progress.

1. Introduction

Prior to engaging with our services it is important for both parties to understand each other, to do this we offer a short complimentary introduction. During our introduction we will share our story including why we only work with barristers, what our services look like should you choose to work with us, and we would ask to learn more about you, your concerns, and your future goals.

2. Clarity

Once we have a clearer understanding of your instructions we will agree the scope, priorities, timescale, and the associated costs so everything is transparent.

3. Discovery

On agreement we send you a welcome pack which includes details of our previous discussions and where relevant, we will request further information from yourself such as on existing policies, your attitude to risk, capacity for loss to allow us to be able to provide you with the most appropriate opinion.

4. Insight

Once we have a complete understanding of your circumstances we will conduct our research and begin formulating our opinion, we will regularly keep you updated regarding the progress of our opinion.

5. Presenting our opinion

Once we have fully formulated our opinion we will share our findings with you in your preferred format.

This is typically done via a short meeting followed by a succint written report which you can always refer back to.

6. Supporting you

Should you agree with our opinion, we will support you with implementation and ensuring you are appropriately set-up.

We also encourage regular follow-up discussions, typically every 6 months. This allows both parties to measure progress and discuss any potential changes in priorities or further considerations.
