We understand that in the first few years at the bar you will be becoming familiar with a variety of matters and schedule may frequently change and adapt.

Our materials will be in place and available to you at your discretion.

Each module is intended to be complete within 15-30 minutes.

Aidan is a qualified financial planner with ten years of experience advising self-employed professionals, including barristers across commercial, family, and criminal practice areas.

As Managing director of Halesworth & Hurlston, he has deep expertise in tax-efficient structuring, pension planning for the Bar, and cash flow management for irregular incomes.

Aidan understands the unique pressures of life at the Bar-from navigating HMRC enquiries to planning for maternity/paternity leave as a self-employed practitioner.
A practising barrister with 5 years’ experience has first-hand experience of the financial challenges facing junior barristers-from managing unpredictable earnings to building for her financial future.

Frustrated by the lack of Bar-specific financial guidance, Kate founded Halesworth & Hurlston to help peers avoid common pitfalls.
